A Michigan Institution Since the Early 1990s
Autolab Complete Car Care has been serving Michigan drivers for over three decades across three locations. What started as three separate facilities under local family ownership came together around 2015, when Aaron Kenyon and Cullen Stearns took over as co-owners and unified the shops under a single vision. Today, each location operates with its own dedicated manager: Ron Savage leads the Jenison shop, Sam Postema runs Lansing, and Josh Sian oversees Mt. Pleasant.
How We Got Here
The two owners came to the auto repair business from different directions. Cullen fell into it in 1997 on the recommendation of a family member, took to it immediately, and never looked back. Aaron came looking for an industry where he could genuinely help people accomplish something, even if that something is as everyday as getting from one place to another. Different paths, same result: two owners who actually care about the work they do and the people they serve.

Our approach is built on thorough inspections, experienced advice, and straightforward recommendations about what your vehicle actually needs right now versus what can wait. We also offer the maintenance services to keep things running the way they should, so you can get more life out of the vehicle you already have.
The People Behind the Work
Across all three locations, we have twenty people who show up every day and do the work right. That team represents close to four hundred years of combined automotive repair experience, ranging from veterans with over forty years in the trade to newer faces who are hungry to learn and bring fresh energy to the shop. That mix matters. Experience catches what others miss, and enthusiasm keeps things sharp.
